This month Stewart & Stewart is pleased to feature the fine prints and unique works on paper by celebrated California artist, Connor Everts. A force in the Los Angeles art scene since the early sixties, Everts continues to produce important works that combine geometric structure with lyrical passages, and figurative elements with abstraction. Pictured is a mixed media work on paper from his Auxesis Studies series. The work is on Arches paper measuring 22” x 30” and is signed and dated on reverse.

Capital Art Fair Arlington VA
Join Stewart & Stewart for our first exhibition & sale of fine prints in the Washington D.C. area at the Capital Art Fair, April 10 & 11, 2010. The Capital Art Fair brings together more than two dozen dealers and publishers showing fine prints, drawings, paintings, and photographs from over 500 years of art. Stewart & Stewart will feature fine prints by Randy Bolton, Richard Bosman, Connor Everts, Janet Fish, Jane E. Goldman, John Himmelfarb, Yvonne Jacquette, Hugh Kepets, Don Nice, Endi Poskovic, Hunt Slonem, Steven Sorman and others.
The event runs Saturday, April 10 from 10am-6pm and Sunday, April 11 from 11am-5pm at the Holiday Inn - Rosslyn Westpark Hotel, 1900 North Fort Myer Drive, Arlington VA 22209. The Hotel is conveniently located just over the Key Bridge from Georgetown, one block from the Rosslyn Metro stop. Admission $10.
